Section 144 CrPc imposed around exam centres in Budgam

BUDGAM: District Magistrate, Budgam has imposed Section 144 CrPc in and around examination centres in order to ensure smooth conduct of annual private examinations of classes 10th  and 12th starting from 31-12- 2015 and 04-01-2016.

The order was issued to curb the menace of copying, unfair means and to uphold the sanctity of examinations.

Any congregation of five or more people and carrying of any copying material in or around these centres has been banned. This order shall remain in force till examination is over in the district.

However the order shall not apply to security forces and police personnel deployed for the purpose of maintaining law and order in the nominated examination centres
