BARAMULLA: District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, Ms. Yasha Mudgal today inaugurated Free Medical camp at Guru Nanak Higher Secondary School Baramulla.
The Camp was organized by Guru Ram Das Medical College Punjab in collaboration with District Administration Baramulla. As many as 670 patients from various parts of district Baramulla were treated during the camp and provided free medicines and medical advice. Different faculties from ENT, Ortho, and General Medicine, Gynecologists, Dental and Eye specialists, various professional medical experts were present during the camp and rendered the services to the patients.
Highlighting the importance of such camps, the DDC said that such events prove quite useful for the patients, particularly the poor patients from the rural and far-flung areas who have no access to the specialists doctors. She said that the administration will make efforts to organize such camps frequently across the district to provide health care to the needy patients at their doorsteps.
The DDC lauded the gesture of Guru Ram Das Medical College for organizing this useful medical camp in north Kashmir.
