JAMMU: National Investigation Agency (NIA) designate Court Friday extended the judicial remand of six suspected militants allegedly involved in Udhampur attack.
At least two Border Security Forces personnel were killed and a dozen were injured when two militants allegedly attacked a BSF convoy in August this year in Udhampur. One militant was killed while another militant Naveed Ahmed was apprehended shortly after the attack. Besides Naveed, NIA arrested five more persons from Kashmir valley for their alleged involvement in the attack.
All the six suspected militants including Naveed Ahmed were produced before the court and their remand was extended by 12 more days.
