SRINAGAR: Various inspection teams constituted by Deputy Controller Drug and Food Control organization conducted 245 extensive inspection drives in various districts of the valley.
The teams suspended 53 licenses of different violators and also served notices to 4 drug stores for violating the Act.
Deputy Controller Drug and Food Control organization Kashmir has instructed all the Chemist fraternity not to dispense any drug without the prescription of Registered Medical Practitioner and maintain Prescription register. Public is requested to demand cash memos at the time of purchase of medicines.
