Asks Govt to expedite the inquiry process

Sriangar, Nov 28, CNS: Chairperson State Women’s Commission Nayeema Mehjoor Saturday visited Mustafabad, HMT and expressed solidarity with the family of slain youth Gowhar Nazir Dar.

Gowhar Nazir Dar was killed in CRPF action on November 7.

Speaking on the occasion, Nayeema Mehjoor expressed solidarity and grave concern on the death of Gowhar.

While condemning the act, she said, “Gowhar’s killing is unfortunate and there is a dire need to stop unfortunate incidents in future.”

She appealed Government to expedite the inquiry process and ensure that guilty should be booked and punished.
