Police Recover Three Bodies in Valley

SRINAGAR:Three bodies were recovered from three separate places across the valley, police said Tuesday afternoon.

Police recovered a male body identified as Gurmeet Singh son of Omkar Singh resident of Deedarpora Handwara working as follower in J&K Police posted in DPL Srinagar at Alochibagh. After completion of medico-legal formalities police handed over the body of deceased to his relatives for last rites.

Meanwhile, police recovered an unidentified male body age about 35 years from Kralpora in Kupwara. The body is laying in Police Station Kralpora and police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the identity and cause of his death.

Another male body was recovered by police in Gulmarg in Baramulla district. The deceased was later identified as 71 years old Bajid Khan Pathan a tourist son of Adam Khan resident of Gundor Andra Pradesh. The body is laying in PHC Gulmarg and police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death.
