Srinagar:  The residents of Nowgam and Natipora Natipora are up in arms against the authorities for “having failed in speedy construction” of the drain, which yet again inundated the colony in the recent rainfall.

A delegation from the area said that construction of drainage system in the locality began three months ago.

“During this ongoing project, road remains blocked at many places, resulting in traffic jam and inconvenience to the commuters and locals,” they said.

They alleged that the work on project is going on snail’s pace.

They appealed authorities to direct concerned officials to expedite the process and complete the project as quickly as possible in the interest of public at large.
