Srinagar: Fourteen persons were injured in different road accidents in Srinagar and Awantipora.
In Srinagar, a motorcycle collided with a divider on National Highway near Nowgam Chowk, resulting in serious injuries to the motorcyclist identified as Haseeb Ahmad Bhat resident of Sonwar. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
Meanwhile, an SRTC bus bearing registration number JK01Y-0420 turned turtle near Railway Crossing Nowgam, resulting in injuries to 08 passengers including the driver of the bus. All the injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered cases regarding these accidents.
In Awantipora, a Hyundai I-10 vehicle bearing registration number JK13C-2829 turned turtle at Chursoo resulting in injuries to 05 persons including its driver. All the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard.
