Srinagar: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Yasin Malik, Thursday appealed people to make the ‘Jamia Masjid chalo’ on the anniversary of Jammu Muslims’ massacre called by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq a grand success.
Malik in a press statement said the carnage and massacre of more than three hundred thousand Muslims at Jammu on 6th November 1947 is the blackest day of our history.
“Today so-called Kashmiri rulers are praising and encouraging the same fascists and the mindset that was responsible for this massacre and for holding a public program for them; whole Kashmir has been turned into a jail by the same rulers,” Malik said. “To pay homage to Jammu martyrs, People should make Jamia Masjid Chalo call by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq a grand success.”
