GMC purchased a semiautomatic NAT blood screening system worth 15 crores from a particular firm which was contrary to the specifications of tender documents wherein an automated NAT was invited.
The e- tender 07 of 2015 which was floated in May 2015 asked for an automated NAT while as supply order approved by principal GMC was made for semiautomatic machine which is without mandatory HIV screening facility.
The particular firm was favored in brazen violation to purchasing procedures and compromise was made on the equipment purchased.
Last year RT-PCR for testing H1N1 was purchased from a particular firm at double the cost at which other institutions have procured.
GMC has become a rehabilitation center for blue eyed persons.
Principal GMC Dr Rafiq Pampori engages influential and favorites on academic arrangement ignoring deserving and meritorious.
A highly influential female was engaged as junior pharmacist on academic arrangement through backdoor who was not figuring in the list of the post of pharmacists violating SRO-384 of 2009.
Influential doctors were engaged as Assistant surgeons on academic arrangement for patient care who are working on administrative posts.
