‘Informers active in South Kashmir: DeM

Srinagar:  Dukhtaran-e-Millat president Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi Wednesday lamented that some people for their petty gains have been helping security agencies in getting militants killed in South Kashmir. She said that it is unfortunate that four militants were killed within a span of two days.
In a statement, Andrabi said that during her telephonic address to the people who had gathered at the residence of Manan Ahmed Dar, one of the militants who got killed in Drabgam area on Monday, she said that it is worrisome that ‘informers’ have been so active and alleged that they mostly belong to Indian mainstream parties.
“These youth sacrificed their lives so that we get rid of Indian occupation, but, alas, some black sheep help security agencies to get these militants killed,” she said adding that even militant outfit Hizb has accepted that due to the active role of Informers militants are getting killed in South Kashmir.
She appealed people to stay away from mainstream political parties as according to her, these parties have been working against the interests of Kashmiri people and freedom movement. She also condemned that alleged attack on a local Masjid in Palhalan area of Baramulla district by CRPF.
