Police,army launch fresh cordon in Bandipora forests

Srinagar, Oct 27:Government forces on Tuesday morning launched cordon-and-search operation in forest area of Bandipora in north Kashmir.

Official sources told Srinagar based news agency that the joint team of army’s 14 RR and Special Operation Group (SOG) of police launched the operation at Slynder forest area of Shok Baba village in Summlar of the district early today morning.

The forces, according to sources, fired few warning shots towards the suspected spot; however, there was no response from the other side.
