Canines maul cop in Kupwara

Srinagar: Seven persons including a cop and two children were mauled by canines at two different places in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

According to reports, the canines mauled 5 persons at Devar in Lolab area of the district. The injured were immediately removed to hospital for treatment. One of the five injured persons identified as Mohammad Yousuf Naiko was later referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment. The other injured have been identified as Hyder Ali Khan, Gulshana Begium, Haji Baba sahib and a policeman Parvaiz Ahmad Khan.

In another bite incident, the canines mauled two children at Inderbug village of Lolab in the district.
