Handwara boy hangs self, dies

SRINAGAR: A boy hanged himself to death in district Handwara of North Kashmir.

An 18 years old boy (name withheld) resident of Supernaghama, Kralgund hanged himself at his home. He was shifted to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completion of legal medico formalities. Handwara police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of death in this regard.
