CS reviews Ladakh supplies

SRINAGAR: Chief Secretary, B R Sharma, in a meeting Tuesday reviewed the supply and stock position to Ladakh region. 

“Greater effort by departments is needed to rush in supplies to the region” Chief Secretary said and set October 31st as deadline for getting the requisite material into Ladakh.

He was briefed about the latest stock position in respect of food grains, petroleum products, LPG, construction material, cattle and poultry feed, timber, firewood, hard coke, medicine, hospital equipment, electric equipment and other material.

“Balance supplies should be dispatched to Leh and Kargil districts immediately to augment the winter stocks for the region”, he stressed.
