KATHUA: While laying the foundation stone of additional block of PWD rest house in Billawar Monday, the Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, said that

Maharaja Hari Singh will remain a role model for the generations to come.

“The contribution of Maharaja Hari Singh is phenomenal as he has immensely contributed in every sphere of life which is remembered today as well,” he said. “He was a visionary far ahead of his times and the contribution rendered by him would be remembered for ever.”

Dr singh said that the government is giving focused attention on the developing and upgrading the infrastructure in the state and the far flung band remote areas being the priority.

“Several new programs would also be initiated for ensuring the holistic and need based development of these areas,” he said. “Work on the Deoli approach road will commence soon and said that the other demands projected would be taken up with the concerned.

Later, Dr Nirmal Singh Inaugurated Steel Garder Bridge over Preya Nallah at Kah-Kashed in Billawar.
