Burglars decamp with ATM machine

SRINAGAR: Burglars stuck Baramulla district of north Kashmir late Friday night and decamped with an ATM machine containing lakhs of rupees.

According to the reports, burglars during intervening night of September 18/19 strike at Koker Hammam in Old Town and decamped with an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of State Bank of India (SBI) carrying 36 lakh.

Police are examining the CCTV footage and the arrest of the culprits is likely soon. Police have also announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for anyone providing lead into the incident.
