SRINAGAR: Stressing that the healthcare needs a robust revamp, Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI and Trainings, Choudhary Lal Singh today asked for chalking out effective strategies to provide enhanced and timely health services to the people.
Chairing a review meeting, the Minister said that the creation of model hospitals will mitigate the sufferings of the common people across the state. He said that the move will also curb the increasing cases of referrals. Government will try to work on the project on priority basis to create such model hospitals across the state, he said.
While reviewing the functioning of the healthcare institutions, the Minister said loopholes should be addressed on priority basis. He directed officers to be prompt in taking action against the officials who dont show any improvement in their working in the healthcare institutions.
