NC lends support to strike call on 7th September

Srinagar: National Conference on Thursday supported the call for a complete shutdown and strike on the 7th of September issued by various trader associations, non-political organizations and flood victims.

Meanwhile, the party has expressed disappointment over the continuous indifference of PDP-BJP government over the regularization of around 6000 National Youth Corps employed in 2010.

A delegation of NC and YNC office bearers led by Sr. Vice President J&K National Conference Muhammad Syed Akhoon accompanied by District President Srinagar Peer Afaq visited the protesting NYCs at Partap Park Srinagar and as a mark of solidarity joined the sit-in.
