Srinagar: As the countdown for J&K Banks prestigious recruitment test begins, Banks management and staff especially Human Resources Development Division are gearing themselves up to ensure smooth conduct of exams that will see tens of thousands of candidates appearing and competing for the posts of Relationship Executives, the entry level in the Bank for the officers cadre.
While the Bank has been conducting such tests in the past with a great professional expertise and significant degree of success through external agency, this years recruitment test is being referred to as different and historic as it is for the first time the exams are being conducted through online mode in scores of centres spanned across the state. It is a challenge that we are ready to face with dedication and professional excellence on scientific lines to ensure enhanced levels of efficiency, confidentiality and transparency, said Abdul Rauf Bhat, Senior President HRDD.
He said, To give the candidates an idea about the nature of test and a sense of the online exam-taking, the bank has shared a link of mock tests on the home page of its website www.jkbank.net. The site is witnessing tremendous traffic as hundreds of aspiring candidates have been accessing it to undertake mock tests.
Notably, initiatives by professionals in private capacity have also added to the Banks efforts of encouraging online mode by acquainting aspiring candidates with the online format. RISE APP, a test taking android application developed and launched by RISE Institute, an initiative by IITians from J&K, has come in as a very useful source of preparation. The application was launched on 1st September and since then more than 1200 aspirants have downloaded the APP and attempted over 15,000 questions on it. The application provides students with 10-15 test papers daily. APP, like the Banks own mock test has been designed to ensure candidates are able to practice in an environment which will be almost same as the actual test.
