BJP, RSS create confusion in Kashmir: Taj Mohiuddin

Sanik Colony, Article 35A:

SRINAGAR: Former Minister and senior Congress leader, Taj Mohiuddin, Tuesday alleged that Bhartiya Janata Party and its ally RSS have been intentionally hurting the sentiments of the people of Kashmir.

“Sometimes the people related directly or indirectly to BJP have been challenging Article 370, sometime Article 35A and sometimes an impression is given that Sanik Colony will be created in Kashmir for the Indian soldiers.,” Taj said. “All these attempts are made to pinch and hurt the sentiments of majority community in State.”

BJP and RSS, he said, want to create an environment of uncertainty in Kashmir. “It will have serious ramifications if these parties continue to pursue anti-Kashmir agenda,: Taj said. “Right from 1950, RSS and BJP have been trying to question the very existence of Article 370.”

He said if the intention of the government is to settle non-state subjects in Sanik Colony, then Congress party will vehemently oppose the move.
