Vice-chairpersons for Advisory Boards appointed

Officials elevated to the status of minister
SRINAGAR: The Government Thursday ordered the appointment of vice-chairpersons of various Boards in the State.
Choudhary Zafar Ali of village Bidhar, tehsil Larnoo of district Anantnag has been appointed as the vice-chairman, J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Gujjars and Bakerwals with the status of a Minister of State.
Bhushan lal Dogra of R S Pura, Jammu has been appointed as Vice-Chairperson, J&K State Advisory Board for Scheduled Castes with the status of a Minister of State.
Kuldeep Raj Gupta of Rajouri has been appointed as Vice-Chairperson, J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People with the status of a Minister of State.
The Government has further ordered that Ms Nayeema Ahmad Mahjoor, Chairperson, J&K State Commission for Women, shall also have the status of a Minister of State.
