Establishment of AIIMS at Jammu

DC asks Revenue Deptt to identify land by Aug 30

JAMMU: The Deputy Commissioner Jammu Simrandeep Singh today convened a meeting of revenue officers of the district in connection with the identification of Land measuring 200 acres for establishment of AIIMS in Jammu.  

The Deputy Commissioner briefed the Revenue authorities about the guidelines issued by Union Health Ministry regarding the site selection. The officers were told to provide exact geographical coordinates of the location; classification of land; details of road connectivity from National highway, Railway Head and Airport.
