LELHAR: Thousands of people participated in the funeral processions of both militants amid massive anti-India and pro-freedom slogans at Lelhar and Tilangam. The participants include men, women and children. The funerals were held separately at Lelhar and Tilangam.
In Tilangam, more than dozen people were injured after a roof of a school collapsed as a result of huge rush in the funeral of the slain militant. The situation in entire district was tense when reports last came in.
Reports said that Saheen, an MSC student and is survived by widow and two little children.
BSF personnel opened fire after a group of youth attacked their vehicle with stones at Malangpora in the district.
In the firing incident, a youth sustained bullet injuries and was immediately shifted to health centre Awantipora where from he was removed to SMHS hospital Srinagar, reports said.
However, the youth identified as Bilal Ahmad Bhat S/o Ab Ahad Bhat of Padgampora was pronounced dead on arrival by the doctors.

Meanwhile, an official spokesperson expressing deep sorrow and anguish over loss of a precious human life during protest near Malangpora
reiterated that the security forces have been asked to exercise maximum restraint while dealing with public protests, particularly to avoid causing physical harm to any civilian. He said the State Government has ordered time-bound investigation and inquiry into the incident to ensure that those who are guilty of the offence are brought to book and punished.
