Man falls from tree, dies

SRINAGAR: A 50 years old man Ghulam Mohammad Kumar son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Trikanjan in the jurisdiction of Police Station Boniyar fell from a devdar tree, resulting in his on spot death. After completing all legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed to his relatives for last rites, police said on Monday evening.

Three persons were injured in two separate road accidents in the valley.

In Islamabad, a Maruti car hit and injured minor child Uzaib Manzoor Dar son of Manzoor Ahmad Dar resident of Hanjidanter Sofipora near DC office Islamabad. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

In Budgam, a Tipper bearing registration number JK01/4296 driven by Ajaz Ahmad Mir resident of Balhama Panthachowk hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK04C/6145 near Municipality check post Chadoora, resulting in injuries to Aquib Dar resident of Jalal Abad Kralpora and Javed Ahmad Bhat resident of Bilal Abad Kralpora.

Police further said that bear attacked and injured two persons in Bandipora.

A black bear attacked and injured two persons namely Mohammad Kamal Lone son of Mohammad Ramzan Lone and Javed Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat residents of Arin, Bandipora. The duos were on way to their home from their fields. Both the injured persons shifted to District Hospital Bandipora for treatment.
