Jammu lawyers continue strike

JAMMU: Bar Association Jammu has decided to extend its ongoing strike and suspend court work till August 15 demanding separate notification on AIIMS for Jammu.

Bar Association of Jammu today declared to suspend work till August 15 in order to continue their struggle for AIIMS in Jammu, Abhinav Sharma, president Bar Association of Jammu and chairman Coordination Committee said.

He also criticised BJP MLAs. Members of civil society and lawyers this afternoon staged protest amid anti-BJP and anti-police slogans on the High Court road due to which traffic remained disrupted for more than two hours.
