Darul Aloom Gousia holds Milad celebration

GANDERBAL: Thousands of people participated in the “11th Annual Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi and 6th Jashn-e-Dastar Hifz Quran” conducted by Darul Aloom Gousia, Ganderbal at Sherpathri Kachchan ground.

Besides Quran, the students are taught other subjects at the Darul Aloom.

Renowned Islamic scholars from different Islamic organizations of the State including  Moulana Mufti Manzoor Raza Qadri, Moulana Qazi Abdul Qayoom, Moulana Noor-ul-Hassan, Moulana Aabid Raza Noori, Moulana

Mudasir Azizi and others spoke on the occasion and enlightened the gathering with the teachings of  Quran and Hadith.

Two minors, Tajamul Islam from Chrar-i-Shareef and Mohammad Anwar Thekri of Kangan who completed their Hifz (Oral learning) of the Holy Quran, were honoured.

The patron of the institution, Moulana Abdul Majeed Lone, Principal Moulana Tariq Ahmad Misbahi and other office bearers were also present on the occasion.
