Educated youth have taken the charge of freedom struggle: Nayeem

Srinagar: Terming the freedom struggle very precious and the sacrifices of youth like Talib Ahmad Shah as the assets of the movement, National Front Chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan today said that yesterday’s funeral procession of Shaheed Talib Ahmad Shah should be an eye opener for India and its local collaborators who still live under the illusion that the freedom movement belongs to few people.

“Shaheed Talib Ahmad Shah like martyrs are the real heroes of Kashmiris who sacrifice their lives to take the freedom movement forward,” Nayeem Ahmad Khan said in a statement.

He added that no doubt Shaheed Talib’s martyrdom has deeply wounded his parents however his martyrdom has proved again that the charge of our freedom struggle has been taken over by well qualified and scholarly youngsters.

Khan said that the huge gathering at the funeral of Shaheed Talib Hussain was a proof that people of Kashmir admire freedom from India and love their freedom fighters.

“Keeping in view the participation of people in the last rites of LeT commander, Shaheed Talib Ahmad Shah, India and its local collaborators must introspect and admit that Kashmiri people are against the illegal Indian occupation of Jammu Kashmir and who fight against the occupying forces are their real heroes.”
