APD cautions against activities of ‘unscrupulous elements’

SRINAGAR: The Government today warned of stern action against the ‘unscrupulous elements’ indulging in collection of money from officers/officials in the Agriculture Department.

A statement issued by Commissioner Secretary Agriculture Production Department, Mr M A Bukhari, has said that it has come to the notice of the Administrative Department that some unscrupulous elements in the Directorate of Agriculture, Kashmir/ subordinate offices are indulging in collection of funds/money from officers/officials, with a view to serve their vested interests.

“All the officers/officials are advised to be careful of the activ-ities of such elements and also to identify them and report to the superior officers immediately so that action under law is taken against them. The activities of such elements cannot, in any case, be tolerated being in violation of the Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees (Conduct) Rules, 1971,” it said.
