Srinagar: India’s major car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited today said it aimed to sell two million cars by 2020 with the launching of its first premium cross-over S-Cross, a four-wheeler, combined with speed and comfort for new generation young people.
S-Cross will be first model to be retailed exclusively through Nexa, specially designed 35 exclusive showrooms across the country, company’s senior vice president Partho Banerjee told a media conference here today.
He said another 65 showrooms will come up by this year end to cater the demand of new generation fuel-efficiency vehicle.
Whilst DDiS 200 has four variants (fuel efficiency 23.65 kmpl) Sigma Rs 8,82,665, Delta Rs 9,65,815, Zeta Rs 9,99,000, and Alpha Rs 11,30,231.
DDiS 320 has three variants Delta Rs 12,57,821, Zeta 13,60,559 and Alpha for Rs 14,37,605 with five colours.as the company’s most ambitious bid at breaking into the premium segment of cars.
Both the versions are run by diesel.
