Fiasco; yes, it is disgusting to see a section of teacher community showing outrageous response to the High Court order. HC has directed them to be ready for the screening test examination or face the music. Teacher is the builder of a nation. It is he/she who makes the future of a student. There should be no doubt in their credibility & excellence. Their products undoubtedly carry the same esteem & achieve more of a zeal. However, jaundice eye’s pointed out something unexpected but asking for excessive & extensive reprimand. A teacher can’t be an illiterate, fussy, talkative. We deserve & desire a quality teaching system not a wild brigade of goose. Our children pay for being taught. You get salary. Some less & some more. It becomes your right to teach with honest faith & necessary to be well educated with proper qualification degree. You will surely get difficulties while making a little child of nursery standard understand & write A-B-C… But if he fails to understand & write despite his various attempts. It is not his/her fault. Fault is lying with you. Problematic is your knowledge. Immature is your experience. Underdeveloped is your brain. Because you take it forgo- an uncivilised way. If it is the case for which you are asked to pass this litmus test or filtering/scrutinising of degrees you must be ready and face the axe once tagged unsuccessful & crippled. Nevertheless, I bet that most of you among all will enthrone this net & are capable of surpassing any kind of obstruction following whatever degree of difficulty it may possess. However, many a one surely will be caught in this web, having no guts to resist but a bunch of gouache. If you want a change, change around, be the change. Protests and assault on protesters isn’t a solution to it. Lal Chowk March, stranding traffic- normal life and brutal response by using tear-gases, buttons, pellets can’t prove who is right & who is wrong but will only add to disturbances, caused unnecessarily enriching the roots of hatred.
What you teach- double you learn. It may be somehow humorous to point out that teachers whether credible or not but all of them have well defined power over students. It will count as a lifeless benevolence, if work done is only in one’s own favour & benefiting none. Whenever, students are asked to sit for class tests like- silver, golden, Term-I, Term-II, etc they don’t hesitate. They sit calmly. They don’t protest or feel agonised. Why you? Is it a violation or is it hurting your ego- it may be both.
Money makes deaf & dumb talk. It turns a dead to life. You are getting salary on time and still want to hide in hive. The so called your “Teacher’s Forum” is only meant for raising voices for filthy demands, possessive needs, warnings to release salaries and many other zero demands after every now & then. Why don’t you use that elite forum as a “self-help” tool in order to strengthen your own educational hub? Indeed, that can be used to hold educational workshops, capacitive programmes, providing training for fermenting the old wine etc. Give that forum a new look. Dispose the garbage if any. Why are you only looking for money all the time? Why don’t you focus on new modern techniques of teaching & teaching aides? What for is B.ed? I think that is mandatory or compulsory only to learn the all essential basic techniques of teaching. If you are not intelligent nor efficient but you can be a hard-worker. This advice might not fit for now but for future, because as of now everybody is after you & your hasty doings. You should take the responsibility & nod in positive. You please don’t be afraid, pass every hurdle & break the ice and eat the cream. You work smart & focus on quality education.
There is no sincere reason in asking for ministers about their qualifications. No doubt some among them are absolute duds. But that again is our fault. We replaced the “Toope” (rupee) with “Hat” (pound). As we voted in favour of them. The problem lies again with the degrees of teacher’s. Qualified in vague & lacking a proper procedure- viz. regular or ODL. In short, fraudulently done while sitting at home, ploughing ones own fields. ReT’s or general one’s shouldn’t be made “bali ka bakra”(the scapegoat) only. We know, many among us working as lecturers, principals, even Zeo’s & Ceo’s & also people engaged in other departments have degrees which don’t hold water.
