‘Wards of Govt. Teachers Study in Pvt Schools’

Srinagar: Claiming that wards of maximum government teachers study in private schools, the Sopore Citizens Forum on Thursday slammed them for opposing screening test ordered by the Education Department.

In a statement here, the chairman of the Forum, Muhammad Ashraf said: “The fact is 98 percent of wards of government teachers are studying in private institutions and this shows their incompetency,” adding, “it is disgusting on the part of these teachers to oppose the decision of screening test.”

He hailed the screening test decision of the government and urged government not bow before the pressure of the teachers. “This would prove their (teachers) ability and competency,” he added. (GNS)
