SRINAGAR: Expressing sorrow and disappointment over the disunity among Muslims worldwide, Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah said the need of the hour is to rise above trivial differences and unite against the imperialist and Zionist powers.

On ‘Yaum al Quds’, Shah, in his message appealed the religious leaders and clerics of masjids across the State to pray for liberation of Masjid-e-Aqsa (Bait ul Muqadas), Palestine, Kashmir, in favor of Muslims of Burma and Rohingya and unity among Muslim Ummah during Friday prayers.

“It is extremely sorrowful and unfortunate that we Muslims are entangled in mutual infighting and warfare while as our enemies continue to butcher our people in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan and Kashmir. We must shun all our internal differences and unite against the imperialist, expansionist and Zionist forces who are hell bent upon maligning the Islam and weakening Muslim Ummah,” Shah said.
