Srinagar: A local court here has issued arrest warrant against Managing Director Jammu and Kashmir Horticultural Produce Marketing Processing Corporation (JKHPMC) in connection with a gratuity case of three retired employees.
The court of special Tehsildar Recovery directed the concerned Station house officer to execute the warrant if the officer failed to settle the case of the three petitioners by July 8 next month.
The petitioners had approached labour commissioner after the department did not release the gratuity in the tone of RS 936517. Subsequently after hearing them the labour commissioner had directed the department to release the gratuity.
When there was no compliance the three retired employees filed a suit before the first class magistrate.
