Srinagar: The Kashmir University students stayed away from participating in the Yoga day event  that was held on Sunday.

According to the CNS, varsity officials had made elaborate arrangements to conduct Yoga sessions in the University campus and for that purpose the University had erected tents.

Reports said that during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, amid anti-BJP slogans scores of students emerged into campus and dismantled the tents, forcing University authorities to cancel the Yoga celebrations there.
