Hanjura orders suspension of absent employees

BUDGAM: Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura on Monday visited Sub Divisional Agriculture Office, Chadoora to take stock of its functioning.

During the surprise visit, the Minister found many employees of the office absent from duty, following which he directed the Director Agriculture Kashmir to immediately issue orders of suspension in respect of these delinquent officers.

The Minister ordered immediate attachment of the concerned Sub-Divisional Agricultural Officer Mohammad Shafi Sheikh with the Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir besides ordering suspension of Incharge AEO, Chadoora Rubia Jabeen, Junior AEO, Mujahid Altaf, seven absent Rehbar-e-Zirat officers including Javid Nazir, Suhail Amin, Imtiaz Ali, Tanveer Ahmed, Sandeep Kour, Sabeena Afzal and Shubahna Bhat and two Naib Chowkidars, Abdul Gani and Ghulam Mohammad Shah.

The Minister on the occasion reiterated that delinquency in duty will not be tolerated and urged all officers to perform their duties professionally so that public is not subject to any sort of inconvenience due to their unauthorized absence from duty.
