BSF man hurt in mine blast

Srinagar- A Border Security Force (BSF) Sub-Inspector was injured in a land mine blast near Line of Control in Tanghdar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, an official said.

The official said that the BSF man identified as Man Singh of 16 Battalion was injured when he stepped on a land mine. “Due to blast, his left leg was critically hurt,” he said.

The injured officer was rushed to 92 Base Hospital of army here and is being treated upon.
