DLRC meeting held at Baramulla

BARAMULLA: In order to set up various income gene-rating units Rs.701.50 crores have been advanced by various financial institutions in Baramulla district during 2014-15. During the time various self help groups were established which stands linked with various banks.

This was disclosed during a District Level Review Com-mittee (DLRC) meeting held at Dak Bungalow Baramulla to-day with Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla in chair. Officers and representatives from sponsoring departments, Banks, RBI and NABARD participated.

Giving details Zonal Lead Bank officer said that Rs.249.98 crore were provided under Agri sector, Rs.166.98 Crore under small Enterprises sector, Rs.16.18 crore advanced under services sector while Rs.268.36 crore provided under non Priority sector.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner on this occasion stressed upon the officers  to better cooperation and cohe-sion  between sponsoring agencies and banks so that maximum un employed youth are benefited and  the goal of development process is achieved.
