SRINAGAR: With a view to make value-addition to its course curriculum, Sri Pratap College, Srinagar has decided to offer special classes in Functional/ Spoken Arabic by starting a certificate course.
The decision has been taken on the advice of Minister for Education, Mr. Naeem Akhter during his maiden visit of the college on April, 02 during which he had impressed upon the college administration to think out of box in the direction of value-addition to the traditional and academic course transactions.
Considering the fact that even the professionally trained and academically brilliant pass outs of the colleges and universities including medical practitioners, engineers, managers and host of other professionals face a challenge in communicating in the Middle East that has a huge potential of employing them, the college has decided to enroll also the aspirants who as such are not on the rolls of the college to this certificate course in spoken Arabic.
The certification for the course shall be done by the Sri Pratap College itself till the required clearances from the affiliating university and other agencies are obtained.
All the desirous aspirants for this certificate course have been advised to report directly to the Principals office for registration and further necessary instructions.
