Srinagar, May 29 (KNS): Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Friday reacted to the recent police statement that the outfit is behind the attack on telecom operators, saying such an act is condemnable and UJC suprmo has already asked for the probe over ‘Lashkar-e-Islam’ and persons involved in the attack.

In an emailed statement to KNS, Hizb spokesman Saleem Hashmi while quoting  deputy chief Saif-ullah Khalid said that the outfit condemned Sopore attack in which precious human lives were lost. He said the statements being issued by the police over Hizb are aimed to make New Delhi happy “but such acts would not make them dear to Modi government but for sure will be remembered by the people of Kashmir as tools used for oppression.”

The Hizb also appealed to people to remain cautious and foil any tactic of the agencies in Kashmir. “No one will be allowed to defame the resistance movement in Kashmir,” reads the statement.
