GANDERBAL: For the smooth conduct of Amaranth Yatra via Baltal, Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Showkat Ajaz reviewed the arrangements for the same.
Chairing a meeting of officers, the Deputy Commissioner stressed upon them to put up all efforts for smooth conduct of Yatra commencing from July 2, 2015.
Threadbare discussions were held for making arrangements in connection with the adequate supply of essentials, transport facilities, drinking water, power supply, medicare facilities, availability of firewood, sanitation, besides macadamization of roads and snow clearance upto the cave via Baltal.
Besides, threadbare discussions were held pertaining to establishment of medical camps, sanitation and availability of essentials, traffic management plan and drinking water facilities during Urs-i-Baba Nagri, Wangat.
The Deputy Commissioner impressed upon the officers to make suitable arrangements of sanitation and cleanliness during Urs-i-Baba Nagri, Wangat to facilitate the devotees.
Among others, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, besides officers of district administration and police attended the meeting.
