‘Shifting’ of CU from Ganderbal

Delegation calls on Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar:  National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah Tuesday interacted with a public delegation from Ganderbal district at his residence in Srinagar.

According to party insiders the delegation apprised Dr Farooq Abdullah of various local issues in their particular areas and were apprehensive that the PDP led Government may shift the Central University from Ganderbal to some other district.

Farooq Abdullah according to CNS asked the people of Ganderbal to prepare themselves for a decisive battle if PDP led government shifts the Central University from Ganderbal district.

Senior Abdullah said that government will not be allowed to shift this University to some other town and if it does so, it will face the wrath from the people of Ganderbal.
