CS reviews Central Sector Projects

Srinagar: The Central Sector Projects Coordination Committee (CSPCC) headed by Chief Secretary, Iqbal Khandey Thursday held its 3rd meeting here to ensure timely completion of various Central Sector Projects in J&K especially related to construction of BRO roads and works under the Border Area Development Programme.

The Coordination Committee reviewed the progress on various central sector projects and took several decisions to expedite clearances related to land acquisition, availability of Right of Way, forest, environment, wild life clearance, stone quarries shifting of utilities, etc.

Chief Secretary urged the concerned state departments and the Central Project Authorities, to conduct joint surveys, wherever required to expedite the completion of these projects.
