Kashmiri Trader Murdered in Gujarat


Anantnag:  A man from Jammu and Kashmir was allegedly murdered by unidentified men in Gujarat, reports said on Tuesday. 

Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday son of Ali Mohammad Khanday of Hugama Sirgufara Anantnag who was doing Kashmiri shawl business since last one month was found dead in his room on Monday evening.

His family members and relatives are demanding a thorough probe into the death to establish the facts. The family members said that Khanday has been murdered and he did not commit suicide. 

“We can tell you with authority that Mushtaq Ahmad has not committed suicide but it is a cold blooded murder,” the family members said. “We want a probe so that murderers could be identified and booked”.

Meanwhile a senior police official said that they have constituted a team which will fly to Ahmadabad along with few family members for the identification of body recovered by Ahmadabad  police.. “We are in touch with the family and hopefully this evening our team will fly to Ahmadabad and get back the body,” he added. 

He said they were probing the cause of his death.
