IT Secretary reviews progress of work on Energy Bhawan at Bemina

SRINAGAR, MAY 05: The Secretary, Science & Technology and Information Technology departments today visited Energy Bhawan coming up at Bemina, Srinagar. The Energy Bhawan is under construction and would house the officers of J&K Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) and J&K State Council for Science and Technology.

The Secretary was informed that project is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.97 crore against which an amount of Rs. 2.70 crore has been released in favour of the contractor. It was informed that the building would be ready by end of June, 2015. The Secretary inspected the various floors of the building having a area of approximately 13000 sq feet. The secretary was accompanied by Chief Executive Officer and other officers of JAKEDA.
