Viladat-e-Maula Ali Celebrated


SRINAGAR: Birth anniversary of Amir-al-Momineen Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was observed with fervour and reverence across Kashmir Valley on Rajab 13 Sunday.

J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Shiayan and Ittehadul Muslimeen organised several functions to mark the occasion.

At Madina Public Schools, run by Ittehadul Muslimeen charity, functions were held to highlight the personality of Imam Ali. Students actively took part in the functions where speakers urged them to read and draw inspiration from valuable sayings of Imam Ali whom Prophet (pbuh) described as gateway to the city of knowledge.

Anjumane Sharie organized celebrations of Mowluod Kabba (Birth event of Imam Ali inside Kabba) at Central Imam Bargah Budgam & Maktab-a-Zehra Hassanabad, where scores of teachers, students & locals joined the functiuons.

Offering felicitation to the followers & lovers of Prophet & his pure progeny President Anjuman-e-Sharie Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi at Central Imam Bargah Budgam threw light on the life & contribution of Imam Ali for Islam & Muslims.

He said Imam Ali was born inside the Kabba, which itself is a greatness & prestige showered upon him by the Almighty Allah as no human being was ever blessed with such honour.

He said historians have recorded the knowledge, bravery & courage of leader of faithful that how Imam singularly broke the evil combinations and carried the Muslims and Islam to a position of safety, eminence and power which prompted Prophet of Islam (Pbuh) to say: “There is no braver youth than Ali and no better sword than his Zulfiqar.”
