Porter hurt in LoC blast

Srinagar: An army porter was injured in a land mine blast along Line of Control in Poonch district.

Official sources said that the porter identified as Bashir Ahmad, 45, was working near the border fence in Sabri Gali post in Mendhar area of the district when he inadvertently stepped over the land mine leading to powerful explosion.

The porter sustained injuries in the explosion. He was rushed to army hospital where he is undergoing treatment, sources added.
