Srinagar: Democratic Freedom Party Chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah while condoling the demise of renowned businessman and social activist of Islamabad Ghulam Mohiuddin Salati has expressed heartfelt solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the heavenly abode of the deceased.
Meanwhile, on the directions of Shah, a party delegation led by Molvi Bashir Ahmad today visited the maternal house of party activist Ajaz Ahmad Gulloo at Qamarwari to express condolence with him and on demise of his maternal grandmother. They also held prayers in favour of deceased, a party statement said.
Later on, the delegation visited the ailing mother of renowned commander Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar at hospital and enquired about her health. On the occasion, the delegation prayed for her speedy recovery and said the lady remained contented and steadfast and stood firm against the hardships the family faced in freedom movement. The delegation included Feroz Ahmad, Zameer Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad and Javaid Ahmad, it added.
