Clamour over Aalams release to hoodwink Jammu people
Srinagar: All India Congress Committee member and former Minister Abdul Gani Wakil Tuesday said that Central Government is acting like an autocratic monarch and has been raising hue and cry on Masrat Aalams release just to hoodwink the people of Jammu.
BJP had promised to the voters in Jammu that it will install a Hindu Chief Minister in the State and also it will grant citizenship to the West Pakistan Hindu Refugees. It has failed to live up to the expectations of the people of Jammu and just to divert the attention of the Jammu voters from these issues, it is making meaningless clamor to shut the mouth of the people living in Jammu, Abdul Gani Wakil told CNS adding that Masrat Aalam was released by the Court and Central Government should not challenge the verdict of the judiciary.
The attitude and the style of functioning of BJP is autocratic and dictatorial. Such an attitude in injurious to the health of the democracy and if BJP will not change its attitude the people of Kashmir will certainly again come on the roads and will shower their anger against India, he said.
He said that BJP is losing its ground in Jammu while in Kashmir it is non-entity. This party knows it well that it cant check Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, thus it is raising hue and cry on Masrat Aalams release to hoodwink their voters.
