Srinagar: Police have arrested two persons along with grenades from Pattan area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir, a police official said on Friday.
He said that acting on a specific information, a joint team of 29 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of police and 176 battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conduct a raid at Astan Mohalla in Palhallan and arrested two youths identified as Ishfaq Ahmad of Mundyari Pattan and Mehraj ud din of Astan Mohalla Palhallan and recovered two grenades from them.
A case under FIR number 10/2015 under Arms Act has been registered in police station Pattan and further investigation has been started, he said.
